The commander-general of the Republic of Mozambique Police (PRM) said yesterday that he was tired of receiving complaints about the poor performance of some of his officers, especially those of the Traffic Police..
In a publication by STVBernardino Rafael, who was speaking in Sofala province, central Mozambique, asked them to act with dignity towards society in order to improve the corporation's image.
"I'm constantly plagued by the bad behavior of traffic officers, for example, who don't clearly define where they need to be for what we're interested in on the public highway. They stop doing what they've never done clearly and do other things. That's not the PRM's virtue," lamented the general commander.
Speaking during the sixth patenting ceremony for police sergeants in seven specialties, Bernardino Rafael then called on the members of his corps now being targeted to change their attitude. "It seems like a never-ending song, but we have to change our image. Learn to use the knowledge and tools you already have so that you can feel a change in attitude," he stressed.
