The Desportos da Maxaquene club will not be playing in the final qualifying round for Moçambola-2025, according to the draw held today, Monday (23) at the headquarters of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF)..

According to a Challenge newspaperHowever, the "tricolores", who were selected on the pitch, did not meet the licensing requirements for the competition. The competition kicks off on Saturday, September 28th.

Thus, the draw dictated the following series:

South Zone, series "A": Temusa Costa do Sol de Massinga; Desportivo da Matola; Clube de Chibuto; and Estrela Vermelha de Maputo.

Series "B": Águias Especiais de Gaza; Grupo Desportivo Incomati de Xinavane; and, Ferroviário de Inhambane.

Central Zone, Series "A": Matchedje de Mocuba; Liga Desportiva de Sofala; Trans SK de Manica; and Ferroviário de Moatize.

Series "B": Matchedje de Chimoio; Chingale de Tete; SoProtecção de Quelimane; and, Futebol Clube da Beira.

North Zone, series "A": Ferroviário de Nacala; Águias Especiais do Niassa; and, Associação Desportiva de Pemba. Series "B": Desportivo de Pemba; Sporting de Nampula; and Universidade Pedagógica do Niassa.
