Agenda dos candidatos presidenciais     

This Tuesday sees the continuation of the hunt for votes, which began on August 26, with a view to the general elections on October 9, 2024.

There are four candidates in the presidential race, namely Lutero Simango, from the Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM), Venâncio Mondlane, an independent but supported by Podemos, Ossufo Momade, from Renamo, and Daniel Chapo, from Frelimo.

Yesterday, Simango visited the district of Ribáuè, in Nampula province. He promised to improve education infrastructure and allocate better qualified teachers.

Venâncio Mondlane continues his campaign in Tete province. On Monday he was in Angónia, where he promised to improve the living conditions of the population.

Ossufo Momade is still in Nampula, where he visited the Monapo district and promised to reactivate the industrial park and improve the business environment.

Daniel Chapo is also trying to convince the electorate to believe his party's promises. He has visited the city of Nampula and the districts of Eráti and Memba. Today he is due to visit Johannesburg in South Africa.
