The Coordinator of the Mais Integridade Consortium, Augusta Almeida, revealed today in Maputo that Mozambique will have an Electoral Conflict Resolution Committee.
The committee, he said, will be set up in the next few days and will include all the political parties, as well as personalities from some provinces, involved in the electoral process, with a view to the general elections on October 9.
He explained that the aim is to "try to resolve the cases that happen during the election campaigns, right up to the post-vote period".
Speaking at the presentation of the balance of the first week of the electoral campaign, Almeida noted that the Frelimo party is the most prone to electoral conflicts.
