The Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), in Maputo city, have already confirmed the road accident that occurred yesterday, Friday, caused by the son of the President of the Republic, Florindo Nyusi.

According to PRM spokesman Leonel Muchina, Florindo Nyusi was driving a Mercedes Benz and crashed into another Toyota Fortuner. "The accident occurred on Avenida Julius Nyerere between the Women's and Combatants' Detachment Squares," Muchina recalled, stressing that: "the PRM in the capital has drawn up a report to ascertain the circumstances in which the accident occurred, the damage and possible liability of those responsible for the accident".

According to the spokesman, quoted by the newspaper "The Country"If there are elements, criminal proceedings could be initiated."

Remember that accident caused two children to be run over, one of whom is still hospitalized at Maputo Central Hospital.
