Geny Catamo forces Sporting to fork out millions to keep him in the squad

Geny Catamo obriga Sporting a vasculhar milhões para o manter no plantel

Mozambican international Geny Catamo is one of the new revelations in European soccer. He plays for the Sporting de Portugal first team, a club that will do everything it can to keep him in the squad.

According to the Portuguese press, the Leonine club will have to "rummage in the trunk" to find three million euros and secure the left-winger's entire contract.

Sporting only own 25% of the pass, and the other 75% are in the hands of Amora, who have already rejected two offers of 1.2 million euros and another of 1.2 million euros.

The board led by Frederico Varandas has already reached an agreement with the player himself to renew his current contract (which runs until 2025) until 2028, increasing the termination clause from 60 to 80 million euros.
