Cabo Delgado: Agricultural inputs reach victims of terrorism in Palma

Part of the population of the administrative post of Quionga, in the district of Palma, Cabo Delgado, received agricultural inputs on Tuesday in order to help families who had been displaced by the terrorist actions to continue farming and reduce their dependence on humanitarian support..

This is an initiative by the wife of the governor of Cabo Delgado, Edna Tauabo, with the support of partners, which comes days after the director of the Palma district service for economic activities complained about a lack of seeds for local farmers.

Before Quionga, Edna Tauabo, quoted by Terra magazine, delivered food kits and agricultural inputs to the population of the administrative post of Mbau, in Mocimboa da Praia, Chai, in Macomia, and Xitaxi village in the district of Muidumbe, for families returning after having been forced to leave their home areas for long periods because of terrorism.
