A delegation from the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Action shared experiences on social assistance programs in Luanda, during the III National Conference on Social Protection, which ended on Tuesday in the Angolan capital.
"Our participation was timely as we had the opportunity to share our experience of basic social assistance programs and learn from Angola and Brazil about the implementation of social protection policies in the municipalities," said Eufémia Amela, deputy national director of Social Action, quoted by the newspaper Notícias.
The conference took place under the motto "Let's Strengthen Social Action Intervention Aimed at Improving Citizens' Quality of Life" and was chaired by Angola's Minister for Social Action, Family and the Promotion of Women, Ana Paula Sarmento Neto.
The meeting was also attended by Brazil, which presented the Single Registry of the Portuguese-speaking country.
