Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal failed to sign Lionel Messi twice, namely when he left Spanish club Barcelona for French club Paris Saint-German (PSG), and in the most recent window when the Argentine opted for Inter Miami in the United States.
In search of stars, the Saudi club could now make a jaw-dropping bid for the Brazilian national team's number 10. According to the international press, a Saudi delegation is already in the French capital to make a bid for the player.
It is known that the 31-year-old Brazilian is no longer wanted in Paris, and that his intention for the time being is to remain in European soccer. His contract with PSG runs until 2027, but it seems that his departure will be sooner.
Clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United, both from England, are said to be chasing the Brazilian. However, they will have to deal with Al Hilal, who are going all out to secure Neymar in their squad. The Saudi club could make a bid of 200 million euros in wages for the Brazilian and a further 45 million euros for PSG. That's the same amount Cristiano Ronaldo earns at Al Nassr.
In 2022/2023, Neymar scored 18 goals and 16 assists in 29 games in the Paris Saint-Germain shirt.
