The remains of Edson Da Luz (Azagaia), who lost his life last Thursday afternoon, March 9, 2023, at his home in the Khongolote neighborhood, will be buried next Tuesday (14.03) at Michafutene Cemetery.

The Da Luz family said in a press release that the wake will normally be held at 8:00 am at the City Council Chambers in Maputo, followed by the funeral at 2:00 pm on the same day at Michafutene Cemetery.

"Recognizing the impact that his abrupt departure is having on his family and the various segments of society, the Da Luz family would like to thank all those concerned for their participation in his last farewell and, in a fitting tribute to Azagaia, urges everyone to participate in an orderly and cordial manner," reads the press release.
