Elon Musk considers making a bid for Manchester United

Elon Musk pondera avançar com proposta pelo Manchester United

Elon Musk, the world's second richest man, is seriously considering a bid to take over Manchester United, according to reports this Monday in the British newspaper Daily Mail and quoted by Notícias ao Minuto.

The formal deadline for submitting offers is next Friday, and the 'boss' of companies such as Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX will be "monitoring the situation closely" in view of the possibility of further 'fattening' the private portfolio.

The Red Devils, it should be remembered, were formally put up for sale by the American Glazer family - who have owned them since 2005 - last February, given the period of instability the club has been experiencing.

Elon Musk's fortune is estimated at more than 170 billion euros, and the current owners of the historic Old Trafford emblem are demanding around 6.7 billion euros to give it up for good.
