Stella Artois relaunched the 2nd edition of Art in the Chalice in Mozambique, this year with the support of the Kulungwana gallery.
It was last 7th at an event at the Kulungwana Gallery, at CFM in Maputo, that the collection of passionate and exclusive goblets, interpreted by the vision of three talented Mozambican artists: Lica Sebastião, Sónia Sultuane and Jesse Jane, was presented first hand, where each goblet was transformed into a work of art.
The art pieces are exhibited and sold in restaurants and at different weekends in Maputo city, being accessible to all the public where, for each glass sold, Stella Artois will triple the sale value, reverting 100% in favor of the artists.
According to Katia Mutombene, Brand Manager at CDM, this is "a special project for us. In the first edition we had names like Carmen Muianga, Reinata Sadimba and Taila Cairrilho and the results were fantastic. Besides the sale of the cups, we achieved our main goal, which was to publicize and make known both the artists and their art.
Stella Artois has a strong and intrinsic connection to art not only in Mozambique, but all over the world by promoting artists and projects in a unique way.
"We want the general public to be able to both have access to the aesthetic component and knowledge of our artists, and at the same time be able to acquire a piece of art for a symbolic value, knowing that deep down they are also helping the artists," concludes Katia.
The actions will be in effect until December 4th in three restaurants in Maputo announced on their website www.artenocalice.com
