Government proposes revision of laws to boost economy

The Government will soon submit to the Parliament proposals to revise the legislation in order to attract more investments, reduce the costs of doing business, and make the productive process in the country more flexible.

It is believed that in this way it will be possible. It is also believed that this will contribute to greater predictability in the performance of the Mozambican economy.

These are the VAT Code, Excise Tax Code, Customs Tariff, Corporate Income Tax Code (IRPC), Tax System, Mining Law, and Petroleum Law.

The information was advanced this morning by the Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, who is leading the Government delegation that is reporting to Parliament.
