The Tete province promises to take a diversity of products to exhibit at the 57th Maputo International Fair (FACIM), the most 'popular' in Mozambique.
The Fair, in addition to hosting a vast number of companies from all provinces of the country, will feature an exhibition of products from 18 countries around the world.
The central Mozambican province is taking more than 50 exhibiting companies to Maputo, including small and medium-sized ones, according to data advanced on Thursday by Rádio Moçambique (RM).
RM said that besides presenting mineral resources, the province will expose its agricultural and livestock potential, including malambe and goat.
However, among the biggest 'natural' attractions of the country's hottest province is the new variant of the male aphrodisiac called 'Gonandzololo/ Gonazololo'.
Of Sena/Chisena origin, a language spoken in the center of the country, Gonandzololo is a complex word, composed of two words/radicals, namely: Gona, which, in Portuguese, means "to sleep" + 'Zololo', which means "standing". Thus, Gonandzololo, can literally mean 'to sleep standing up', and from this definition other inferences or readings can be made.
Second of the study "The initiation rites in today's context, p. 366"Gonandzololo is a plant widely used as an aphrodisiac by young people in Búzi and Cheringoma, both districts of Sofala, also in central Mozambique. Like this plant, says the study, there is the plant 'Kisagongo', which also prolongs sexual intercourse.
The aphrodisiac was presented in other editions of Facim and was one of the most sought after products, whose stock was replenished numerous times.
Tete province in Maputo is represented by delegations from Marara, Moatize and Zumbo districts and some state officials.
