"That's always wrong." Elon Musk's advice for success

Most people believe that there is some set, inviolable standard for achieving success. But for the richest man in the world, the path to financial glory works in a way that is not standard.

A business plan seems to guarantee anticipated success in a short or medium time frame. For South African Elon Musk this is no longer the case!

Despite his success in creating companies, such as Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk admitted that he does not create business plans today.

"I had a business plan at the time of Zip2," he said at a conference in 2018. "But those things are always wrong so I stopped worrying about business plans after that."

The advice that the multi-millionaire then gives to entrepreneurs is to ask themselves simple questions before starting the business.

"We have to ask ourselves whether things are true or not," adding that it is important to realize whether the initial business idea "makes sense" or not.

The entrepreneur adds one more tip: "if it seems too easy, it probably is.
