Last night at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, USA, the comedian took the stage for the performance of his "Ego Death" tour show. Before starting with the show, he was applauded by the audience for long minutes. He then asked the audience how their weekend had been, and, in response, heard several laughs. And, a little more seriously, he said that he was still processing what had happened, but that, of course, he would make some jokes about it.

"I don't have a whole bunch of m..... about what happened, so if you were coming to hear that, I had a whole show that I wrote before this weekend. And I'm still in a kind of processing of what happened, so I'll end up talking about that m.... And it's going to be serious and funny, but right now I'm going to tell some jokes," he said.

The Independent reports that ticket sales for Chris Rock's concerts went up right after Will Smith slapped him. The source says that celebrities and fans repudiated Smith's attitude.

In his apology, the "King Richard" actor said that Rock's "joke about Jada [his wife's] medical condition" was too much for him to "bear," but added that "violence in all its forms is poisonous and destructive."
