In Tete, the National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) warns for the occurrence of heavy rain with precipitation above 100 millimeters in 24 hours, due to the influence of an inter-tropical convergence.

The situation could severely affect the districts in the northern part of the province, namely Angónia, Tsangano, Macanga, Chifunde, Marávia.

The phenomenon is being influenced by air masses coming from the Republics of Zambia and Malawi.
