A group of armed individuals fired against the Transformation Post (PT) of the Maputo Provincial Prison (BO), in the early hours of this Thursday (17), hours before the hearing of the former president of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Emílio Guebuza, in the case of Hidden Debts.
According to Rádio Moçambique, the suspects of attempted sabotage of the stage where the trial is being held even threw grenades against the PT of the BO. Tv Sucesso also confirms what happened.
The guards of the establishment retaliated against the onslaughts of the evildoers when they realized the presumed attempt to sabotage Armando Guebuza's hearing. Faced with the alertness of the BO guards, the armed individuals fled in two vehicles.
Diligences for the identification of the group of individuals is underway.
The former president of Mozambique will be heard as a declarant today, the last day of the hearings, at the BO. The hearing was scheduled to start at 10am, but as of this writing the session has yet to begin.
