The government has deactivated almost all of the accommodation centers created in connection with the passage of tropical storm Ana.
Currently, the National Institute for Risk and Disaster Management (INGD) is providing assistance only to Tete province, which has three active accommodation centers, for populations affected by the storm.
The information was advanced this Tuesday at the end of the third ordinary session of the council of ministers that had as one of the agenda items the emergency situation in the rainy and cyclonic season 2021-2022.
The spokesperson for the meeting, Inocencia Impissa, explained that the government remains in budget deficit to respond to the current rainy and cyclonic season.
Also this Tuesday, the Council of Ministers appointed Américo Muchanga, to the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mozambican Airports, replacing Emanuel José da Conceição.
Also on Tuesday, the government approved the proposed law for the creation of maritime courts, the Economic and Social Balance and the report of budget execution 2021, as well as appreciated the information on the status of the presidential initiative "One District, One Hospital".
