Mozambique is under threat of another tropical depression, which could affect, with greater incidence, the province of Cabo Delgado.
According to INAM, a new low pressure system has formed in the Indian Ocean, with the potential to evolve in the coming days into the tropical depression stage.
In view of this forecast, the Secretary of State, of Cabo Delgado, António Supeia, recommends the district governments to be on alert.
"All of us, as of this moment, need to be prepared. The district emergency committees, the technical councils, also, must be prepared to act. We are saying that the districts must be in permanent contact with INGD to provide necessary information to be able to make some decision, whether it is to consume the information or to move people to certain shelters, "said Supeia.
