The United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, will disburse around 40,000 dollars this year for activities to promote children's rights, combat child marriages and climate change in Zambezia.
The information was provided this Monday in Quelimane by Sabine Miquils, an adolescent and youth specialist at UNICEF, according to Rádio Moçambique.
The source, who was speaking at the end of the Festival of Colors simulation held by the platform for teenagers and young people, said that the amounts to be disbursed will be used for technical support, equipment acquisition, training and other platform activities.
Sabine Miquils said that everyone was pleased with the demonstration given by the teenagers and young people on the platform.
Jacimilton Ernesto, President of the Platform, also expressed his satisfaction after the activity.
