The company once again emphasized that it does not share users' personal data with Facebook, which is also owned by Meta.

WhatsApp reached an agreement with European Union (EU) regulators regarding a change to the service's privacy policies in 2021, deciding to make these changes more transparent.

What's more, says Engadget siteAs quoted by Notícias ao Minuto, the Meta-owned company will make it easier for users to reject updates to the terms of service, explaining more clearly what changes will be made.

WhatsApp took the opportunity to emphasize that it does not plan to share users' personal data with other companies owned by Meta - including Facebook.
