The presidential candidate, Venâncio Mondlane, will be in Zambézia province from Friday, August 30, where he will continue his campaign for the presidential elections on October 9.

This has been confirmed on Mondlane's Facebook page, which states that he is due to disembark at around 14h00.

In Zambézia, one of the largest constituencies in the country, Mondlane will visit several districts to present his governance program, should he be elected on October 9.

In his campaign Mondlane has conveyed the idea that Mozambique belongs to all Mozambicans.

He has promised to create better conditions for all Mozambicans to live in dignity.

During his campaign, he repeatedly stated that revenues from the extractive industry should first and foremost benefit local communities. (Image: DR)
