US President Donald Trump is threatening to take action against lawyers and legal teams who file lawsuits against the migratory measures adopted by the government.
In a memo made public by the White House, Donald Trump said that lawyers are fueling rampant fraud and meritless claims in the immigration system.
Trump has therefore ordered the Justice Department to sanction those who engage in what he considers to be professional misconduct.
The document, according to the international press, also instructs the heads of the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security to "impose sanctions on lawyers and companies that bring frivolous, unreasonable and vexatious lawsuits against the United States".
In this regard, he urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to refer these companies to the White House to have certain credentials withdrawn and any contracts they may have with the federal government terminated.
