A report advanced by the specialized news site, indicates that Tesla is planning to launch its own app store, just like Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store.
According to the site, it all started when a Tesla investor shared a tweet showing a video of Apple co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs first announcing the company's virtual app store.
"Rumor is that something similar is on the way for something with four wheels starting with the letter T," the 'tweet' can read. The official announcement from Elon Musk's company was supposed to be in January, but the launch has apparently been delayed.
Although Tesla has not yet shared any information on the matter, a branded app store would certainly serve the brand's drivers to install a wide variety of apps in their vehicles.
