The Black Bulls, the only team representing Mozambique in the Confederation of African Football Cup (CAF Cup), lost (1-4) last night in Uyo, Nigeria, against Enyimba, in the fourth round of Group "D".
With this defeat, the "Bulls" drop from second to third place, with the same four points they had going into this match and have been caught by the Nigerians, who are in the "red bottom" of a Group "D" led by Zamalek (eight).
In view of this result, the national champions must win their next two matches against Zamalek and Al-Masry, in the fifth and sixth rounds, which will take place in Egypt next Sunday and on January 19, respectively.
In each of the four CAF Cup groups, the top two teams go through to the quarter-finals.
If the Black Bulls make it through, they'll receive a cumulative prize of 550,000 dollars, 400,000 of which they've already secured by reaching the group stage.
After Costa do Sol (2002), Ferroviário da Beira (2017) and União Desportiva do Songo (2018), the Black Bulls are the fourth Mozambican club to reach the group stage of the Afro Cups this century.
