The president of the PODEMOS party, Albino Forquilha, is challenging the new President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, to turn everything he said in his speech into action.
The leader of the second most voted party in the last general elections, understands that Daniel Chapo's speech is hopeful, but stresses the need to tackle the main problems facing the country, listing corruption, health and education.
He recalled that there have already been many speeches, some of them beautiful. "What we want is more action. That's what people expect to see," said Albino Forquilha.
Forquilha, leader of the party that is entering the Assembly of the Republic for the first time, with 43 deputies, was speaking today in Independence Square as part of the swearing-in ceremony of the new President of the Republic.
