The Secretary General of Frelimo, Daniel Chapo, is making a one-day working visit to Maputo province this Saturday.

According to a statement quoted by RM, during his visit, Daniel Chapo is expected to hold meetings with local Frelimo bodies and lead an Extraordinary Session of the Provincial Committee Secretariat, which will include other cadres.

It will also hold meetings with the Party's Social Organizations, different segments of society.

In Maputo province, the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic will talk to the population and urge everyone to get actively involved in preserving peace and national unity.

Daniel Chapo's visit is part of the monitoring of the functioning of the Party's organs at all levels in view of the general elections on October 9.
