The Mambas' national coach, Chiquinho Conde, today announced the pre-qualifying squad for the final two rounds of qualifying for the African Nations Championship (CAN) 2025.

In total, 45 players have been called up for the decisive matches, with the big news being defender Bruno Wilson, from SJ Earthquakes, in the United States, and forwards Alcides David and Kélvio Neves, from União Desportiva do Songo avançado and Associação Black Bulls, respectively.

The Mambas will face Mali in the fifth round, scheduled for November 15, 2024, at 18:00, at the Zimpeto National Stadium.

On Matchday 6, Mozambique travel to face Guinea-Bissau at the Estádio 24 de Setembro in Bissau on November 19, also at 18h00.

Refereeing for the match against Mali will be led by a Kenyan trio of Nyagrowa Dickens, Stephen Yiembe and Samuel Kuria, with Kelvin Maina as the fourth official.

For the match against Guinea-Bissau, the refereeing team will come from Nigeria, headed by Joseph Ogabor and assisted by Samuel Pwadutam and Tejiri Digbori, with Abubakar Nurudeen in support.
