The National Football Team (the Mambas) will make their debut tonight (21:00 Maputo time) at the 26 de Março Stadium in Bamako against Mali in the race for CAN-2025, which will be held in Morocco.
The Mambas are looking forward to this game with some optimism, given the good phase the team is going through, not only in terms of results, but also in terms of the soccer they are playing.
However, they also recognize that it won't be an easy game, given their opponents, who are one of the powerhouses of African soccer and, above all, playing at home.
In theory, Mali are the favorites in this match, but the Mambas are in high spirits due to the results they have achieved in recent months.
In the same group, Guinea Bissau, who will play Mozambique on Tuesday, beat Eswatini 1-0.
