PR visita o Malawi a convite de Lazarus Chakwera

As of Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, is on a two-day working visit to the Republic of Malawi, at the invitation of his counterpart, Lazarus Chakwera.

The purpose of the Head of State's visit to Malawi is to strengthen and deepen the historic relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries and peoples.

During the visit, President Nyusi will be awarded the title of "Doctor Honoris Causa in Philosophy of International Relations" by the University of Malawi, in recognition of the efforts made to improve cooperation relations between Mozambique and Malawi in recent years.

The President of the Republic will also take part, as guest of honor, in the opening ceremony of the 20th edition of the Malawi National Agricultural Fair, which is being held under the slogan "Towards Export-Oriented Agriculture through Commercialization and Innovation".

The Mozambican Head of State's visit to Malawi is an opportunity for the two leaders to exchange views on issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
