The President of the Republic, Daniel Francisco Chapo, received his Botswana counterpart, Duma Gideon Boko, today, March 28, in the city of Nacala, Nampula province, on a working visit to the country.
According to a note from the Presidency of the Republic, the Tswana President's visit to Mozambique aims to strengthen and deepen the historic ties of brotherhood, friendship, solidarity and political, economic, social and cultural cooperation.
It also aims to exchange views on the internal situation between the two countries, southern Africa, the African continent and the world in general, to deepen mutual and interpersonal knowledge between the two heads of state and to review the current state of bilateral cooperation.
The two leaders will also visit the Port of Nacala and the Humanitarian and Emergency Operations Center (COHE), with the aim of finding out how they work.
