The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, sent a message of greetings and "deep gratitude" to all Mozambican doctors, praising their essential role in promoting health and defending the lives of citizens, on the occasion of Mozambican Doctors' Day, marked today.
In his message, the Head of State highlighted medicine as one of the noblest missions in the service of humanity and underlined the resilience, professionalism and high sense of humanity with which doctors carry out their profession, often in challenging contexts throughout the country, according to the press release from the Presidency.
Daniel Chapo reaffirmed the government's commitment to continuing to invest in training, valuing and improving the working conditions of health professionals, recognizing the invaluable contribution of this class to the development of the national health system.
"On behalf of the Mozambican people and on my own behalf, I pay tribute to the country's doctors and encourage them to continue with determination and hope in this mission to save lives and build a healthier future for all," said the President of the Republic.
Mozambican Doctors' Day, celebrated annually on March 28th, is an opportunity to recognize the tireless work of these professionals, who act with courage, dedication and a spirit of dedication for the well-being of the population.
