This Sunday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, expressed Mozambique's interest in cooperating with China in the port sector.

The interest was expressed during a meeting he had with the Mayor of Shanghai, as part of his working visit to the People's Republic of China, according to Rádio Moçambique .

At the same meeting, Filipe Nyusi argued that the country has port infrastructures with potential for cooperation with China, praising the Asian country's model of social and economic development.

On the same occasion, Filipe Nyusi expressed his gratitude for the Chinese government's support in the fight against terrorism in Cabo Delgado. (RM)
