The General Assembly of the Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM) appointed Pedro Frederico Cossa to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of this financial institution this Tuesday in Maputo City.
The post was previously held by the current Minister of Planning and Development, Salim Valá.
BVM's new CEO joined the institution in 2009 and has held management positions, including deputy operations director.
At the time of his appointment, he was the financial director of the Maputo City Municipal Mobility and Parking Company, a position to which he was appointed in July 2024.
It should be noted that Cossa had already served as Secretary General of the Mozambican Youth Organization and was a member of parliament for Frelimo.
