Ossufo Momade promete criar fundo de apoio agrário

Renamo's presidential candidate, Ossufo Momade, has promised to create a support fund for agricultural activity, one of the key sectors for food production.

Ossufo Momade was speaking this Sunday in the town of Alto Maganha, in Zambezia province, on another day of vote hunting.

"We're going to do everything we can to solve your problems and we're going to create conditions so that you can work in agriculture, because agriculture develops the country," said Momade, quoted by "O País".

"But this agriculture must have an incentive, we have to create a fund so that our people, those who work the land, have money to farm and develop the country."

According to the candidate, social issues will be a priority in his government, with an emphasis on home-based social assistance and other programs aimed at minimizing people's suffering.

Momade promised to end the malnutrition that affects thousands of people. "Here you produce and we have to work so that you have access to nutrients and quality food."

Also during his speech, Ossufo Momade promised to promote education geared towards self-employment and know-how.

We also have another program, which is to promote professional technical education, so that our young people have a job, learn locksmithing, carpentry and many other trades that create self-employment.
