“Operação” Benim arranca hoje

The national soccer team, the Mambas, are starting their preparations for next Saturday's match against Benin at the Black Bulls Field in Tchumene.

This is the final match of group "L" for access to CAN-2023.

According to the timetable provided by the FMF, the Mambas will hold their second training session on Tuesday at 9.30am at the Zimpeto National Stadium, with a view to the long-awaited match that could put the Mambas in the CAN-2023.

On Wednesday, the Mambas return to the Black Bulls pitch to continue their preparation. On Thursday and Friday, the Mambas will work again on the pitch.

The Mambas only need a draw to qualify, thirteen years later, for the African Nations Championship.

In the event of a win, each player should receive a cash prize of 70,000 Meticais, corresponding to the game prize set at the start of this campaign.

The Mozambican Football Federation has expressed its openness to receiving support from partners to increase the match fee.

It should be noted that in the league table, Mozambique occupies second place in group "L" for access to the Ivorian CAN, with seven points.

The group is led by Senegal with thirteen points, already through to the final phase, while Benin have five points, in third place.
