Manchester United today announced the departure of French footballer Paul Pogba, despite the fact that his contract only runs out at the end of this month. During his stay at Old Trafford the central defender scored 39 goals in 227 matches over six seasons.
Pogba began wearing the official red devil jersey at the age of 16 from Le Havre.
His quality impressed manager Alex Ferguson, who gave him his first-team debut in 2011/12 against Leeds United in an English League Cup match.
The following year, the footballer transferred to Juventus, a club he represented for four seasons. Pogba eventually returned to the "red devil" for more than 100 million euros, coinciding with José Mourinho.
In the service of Manchester United, the 29-year-old, who won the World Cup for France in 2018, has won only two trophies: a Europa League and a League Cup.
