During the implementation phase, the electrical network created 32 jobs, including 23 at local level and another 9 for the contractor's technical staff.
On the occasion, the President of the Republic stressed that the arrival of energy from the National Electricity Network (REN) in Nihessiue will bring substantial improvements to the quality of life of that population.
"Energy is not just for lighting, but also for production. In such a short time, we will see businesses thriving here and well-being settling into the lives of our fellow citizens of Nihessiue," said the PR.
The Nihessiue project consisted of building 25km of medium-voltage line and 10km of low-voltage network.
In addition, 150 street lamps and five transformer substations (PTs) were installed, totaling 500kVA of power, which ensured the connection of 183 consumers, out of the 1,000 planned in the first phase.
