The presidential candidate supported by the Podemos party, Venâncio Mondlane, will announce on Tuesday (19) the second phase of the fourth stage of nationwide demonstrations.
In another live stream this afternoon via his official Facebook account, Mondlane said that until Tuesday arrives, "we will keep up our demonstration by means of the panelaços".
According to the leader of the demonstrations, there will be three consecutive days starting today, Saturday, from 9pm to 10pm until Monday, following the same timetable.
"We don't need to leave our homes. From our houses, from our backyards, we're going to bang our pots, we're going to bang our cans. Let's play our vuvuzelas, our songs," said Mondlane.
Mondlane also said that this is the moment to decree that the time has indeed come for the people to take power.
Mondlane reiterated that the demonstrations will not stop until the electoral truth is restored, until there is an end to the murders of the people, kidnappings and abductions.
"We are in a battle, and in this battle we have to be firm, strong and make sacrifices," he said.
