Mozambique is in Group F of the final phase of the African Cup of Nations (CAN - 2025), according to the draw held yesterday in Rabat, Morocco, the host country of the event.

The "Mambas" will play in the group stage with Ivory Coast, the reigning African champions, Cameroon and Gabon.

Africa's biggest soccer competition will take place from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026 in Morocco.

This is the complete composition of the CAN 2025 groups:

Group A Morocco, Mali, Zambia and Comoros. Group B is Egypt, South Africa, Angola and Zimbabwe. Group C is made up of Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania. Group D is made up of Senegal, DR Congo, Benin and Botswana. Group E is made up of Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan, and finally Group F is made up of Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon and Mozambique.

Mozambique is taking part in the CAN finals for the second time in a row and for the sixth time in its history.
