Mozambique and Zambia strengthen bilateral relations

Moçambique e Zâmbia fortificam relações bilaterais

The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo and his counterpart of Zambia, Hakaibde Hichilema, expressed their desire to improve bilateral relations between the two countries, which have lasted since the period of the armed struggle for independence.

Chapo, according to "Notícias", wants greater cooperation in infrastructure, trade, mining and logistics through Mozambican ports.

For his part, Hichilema expressed his desire to see relations strengthened in the supply of electricity, agriculture and mining, an area in which Zambia has a long experience to share.

The two Presidents met this morning in Namibia on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of Namibia, Netumbu Nandi-Ndaitwaih.
