Mozambican runs for 24 hours to enter the Guinness Book

Moçambicano desfia-se a correr por 24h para entar para o Guinness Book

The French-Mozambican athlete (naturalized Mozambican), Yann Lamy, intends to reach his own physical endurance limit. For this he will run for about 24 hours, almost a full day. Only five physical recovery stops of, at most, ten minutes are planned.

This personal marathon will start at 08:00am on May 21st, at the Circuito de Manutenção Física António Repinga, in downtown Maputo City, and should only end the following day.

The athlete's goal is the massification of the sport, but also an entry in the Guinness book.

Lamy, 43 years old and a resident of the island of Inhaca, says that this is not his first sporting adventure.

For the Mozambican Athletics Federation, which supports this initiative, it is an opportunity to place the country in the world sports panorama by entering the Guinness book.
