The Minister of Health, Ussene Isse, condemns the strikes in the sector and calls them a disaster because they facilitate the loss of lives.

In the meantime, faced with the threat of yet another health workers' strike, Isse says there is ongoing dialogue to ensure that patients are not harmed again.

He was speaking during a meeting he held this Thursday with MPs from the MDM parliamentary group, who visited the Ministry, according to "O País".

Regarding the alleged illicit charges and disappearance of babies at Matola Provincial Hospital, the minister said that no patient undergoes surgery without their consent.

It should be noted that in addition to precarious working conditions, health professionals also complain about the lack of conditions for treating patients as a serious problem.
