The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Maria Manuela Lucas, is taking part this Tuesday in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in the African Heads of State Summit on Energy.

She is attending the event on behalf of the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo.

The meeting will address the urgent need for reliable, affordable and sustainable energy to boost growth and economic development on the African continent, and should culminate in the adoption of a final declaration, the statement said.

Still in Dar es Salaam, Minister Maria Manuela Lucas will also take part in the Ministerial and Partners Meeting, which will take place this Monday.
