After the military "ghosts" a new discovery appears. The Minister of Combatants, Josefina Mpelo, has denounced the existence of individuals posing as former combatants who benefit from ineligible pensions.

According to the minister some of these fake fighters have already been identified by the Ministry.

"My request is, help us denounce these cases because this amount that goes to the combatant who is not a combatant, this is the same amount that we would increase the value of the pension," appealed the minister quoted by RM.

"We ask for support, we have the will, but there are people who are receiving in your place and we know here, we know that there are such people. Help us to denounce them," he added.

The governor was speaking last Friday during a visit to the province of Manica, during a meeting with combatants residing in the city of Chimoio.
