Millennium bim celebrated another milestone in its journey by inaugurating the renovated Nampula Branch, a new, modern space concept designed with the customer experience in mind.
The reopening of this space represents more than a physical renovation, it is an expression of the Bank's ongoing commitment to transforming the banking sector, technological innovation and proximity to Mozambicans.
Present at the event, Rui Pedro, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Millennium bim, said: "In such a special year, in which we are celebrating 30 years of history in Mozambique, reopening this branch in Nampula is a symbol of our journey and our vision for the future.
We are at the side of every family and business in this dynamic and strategic province, with innovative solutions and excellent service. Millennium bim is from Nampula - and together we will continue to build the future."
This new branch concept, which has already been implemented in Maputo, Inhambane and Zambézia, combines state-of-the-art technology with personalized service, offering a multidisciplinary, efficient service geared towards the real needs of customers.
The space also has an exclusive area for attending to companies, reinforcing the Bank's support for the province's business fabric, thus ensuring close and specialized monitoring.
Among the main innovations are the automatic queue management systems, which improve efficiency and specialization in service; the Digital Price List, which allows up-to-date consultation of the prices of products and services, promoting transparency and environmental sustainability; and a modern Self-Banking area, integrated into the Counter space, which guarantees convenience, security and autonomy.
Nampula province, where Millennium bim has around 150,000 customers, is one of the main drivers of the national economy, with a strong presence in the agricultural, industrial and logistics sectors.
The reopening of this branch reinforces the Bank's presence and impact in this strategic region, where Millennium bim has always been present, even in the most challenging times, namely in supporting the populations affected by the recent cyclones Chido and Dikeledi.
In line with its social commitment, Millennium bim formalized two solidarity actions for the benefit of the local community at the Branch's reopening ceremony: the delivery of 50 mattresses to the maternity ward of the 25 de Setembro Health Centre and the donation of 100 2kg cans of Lactogen milk to the Missionaries of Charity - Casa da Alegria orphanage. These initiatives aim to support institutions that play a fundamental role in the well-being of vulnerable mothers, babies and children in the city of Nampula.
With around 200 branches and more than 200 million annual digital transactions, Millennium bim is leading the digital transformation of the banking sector in Mozambique, remaining steadfast in its mission to unite innovation, inclusion, social responsibility and excellence
