The Russian military at the forefront of the invasion of Ukraine will cease fire and authorize, today, the opening of a humanitarian corridor in several Ukrainian cities. According to international portals, this was supposed to happen at 10am Moscow time (9am in Mozambique).
According to cnnportugal, citing Reuters, the corridors will cover five Ukrainian cities, namely, Kiev (capital), Mariupol, Kharkiv and Sumy.
While civilians have been leaving the cities, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will monitor the continued goal of the evacuation, including with the use of military vehicles.
According to our sources, the information reportedly came about thirty minutes after Ukrainian military forces accused Russia of continuing to launch shelling and artillery attacks from regions in Belarus.
According to an operational report released shortly before 7 a.m. local time (7 a.m. Mozambique time), Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff says Russia continues to "violate the rules of international humanitarian law" by shelling civilians and humanitarian corridors.
The military also advanced that the town of Irpin on the western outskirts of Kiev was "deprived of light and water for more than three days," adding that " the enemy has forbidden residents to leave their homes."
