Microsoft wants to equip robots with AI from ChatGPT

Microsoft quer equipar robots com IA da ChatGPT

Microsoft does not plan to limit itself to implementing OpenAI's ChatGPT Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the Bing search engine and Edge browser.

In fact, the Redmond technology company has formed a team of researchers who are trying to figure out how to use ChatGPT to control robots.

"Our goal with this research is to see if ChatGPT can think beyond text and reason in the physical world to help with robotic tasks," can be read in the researchers' note shared by the Business Insider websitequoted by Notícias ao Minuto.

The idea is that, in the future, people will be able to ask robots to carry out small tasks from start to finish, with these devices having the AI present in the ChatGPT text tool as their 'brain'.
