The company responsible for Facebook, Meta, seems to be planning to reduce the number of employees over the next few weeks.
According to the Financial Times (via Engadget), quoted by Notícias ao Minuto, Meta is planning a new wave of redundancies as part of a company-wide restructuring. Reportedly, the idea is to go ahead with this plan sometime in March - after the individual performance reviews.
Remember that Meta already laid off 11,000 workers in November - a figure equivalent to around 13% of the technology company's total workforce and covering all divisions.
